Good for cats with allegies
posted 5 years ago
We used this for several cats that we found had allegeries and continued to sneeze. After the cats had been treated and our vet told us that we had to use this litter. We did that and found that it worked. One of the cats that never found a home after we found out using this litter solved the problem
SUggest it for anyone that you knows has a cat that is not sick but sneezes.
Pros: use for cats that are sneezing and not sick
Cons: none

Cats don't like it
posted 5 years ago
One of our five cats used this a little, but nobody else would get near it. I'm sure the pellets are just uncomfortable to potty in. Doesn't hide odor at all either.
Pros: Recycled
Cons: Cats won't use it

Great litter!
posted 5 years ago
I love Yesterdays News and use it for my rabbits in their litter box. It has virtually no odor (unlike the wood pellets we use) and is very absorbant.
Pros: Odor Absorbing, Inexpensive
Cons: none

I wouldn't subscribe to this newspaper
posted 5 years ago
The most disappointing thing with this was that you could start smelling the urine fairly soon after cleaning out the box and adding new litter. It doesn't allow the cat to cover their poo as well either. I liked the idea of using a recycled product, but I don't think I would get it again.
Pros: Eco-friendly
Cons: Doesn't contain the smell and sticks to feet

Kitties don't care for it
posted 5 years ago
I tried this because one my kittens wouldn't use traditional litter. We did end up using newspaper for her - just not in pellet form. My other cats didn't like it and it's really tough to clean.
for folks who use this with bunnies i wonder if the bunnies will eat it? My rabbits have all loved to eat newspaper - which of course i didn't encourage.
Pros: good for environment
Cons: how the heck do you clean it?
