I brought this thing because I thought that it would make life a little easier. HA! It jammed up and beeped at least once a day. The cats decided the plastic bag was a toy and kept pulling it out. The rake got caked with litter and the box had to be taken apart every other day to clean every little tooth.
I unplugged it and it is still more work. Somehow the girls have found a way to fill the little collection bin with soiled litter. I have to take it apart to get at it.

It does make an impression. If a landlord is worried that there will be cat smells, just show them one of these monsters.

I had to clean out this litter box more than I ever did a regular one. It kept getting jammed. There are also all these extras like liners that you have to buy. I have two cats and thought this would be nice but it was nothing but a headache.

I used to joke that this was my $120 litter box that has a blinking red light to tell me when it needs scooped. That's pretty much what it amounted to. I finally threw it away. Total waste of money.

This litterbox does take away a lot of the time spent cleaning regular litter boxes. However it is a bit loud, gets stuck frequently, and litter gets everywhere. A bit on the bulky to clean side, but the replaceaple trays help a lot. Using the right litter crystals helps with the smell, a bit spendy to replace bags and trays all the time.
