The finest odor-fighting litter box on the planet. Turn it on, odor’s gone! The Odor Grabber Air-Cleaning Litter Box from Bionaire automatically removes embarrassing and unwanted litter box odors. It continuously eliminates odors in the litter box while sending fresh, odor-free air into the room. A built-in electronic air purifier with advanced filtration quietly circulates the air without disturbing the cat. A pre-filter also removes harmful litter dust, dander and fur flowing through the filter. Activated Carbon and Zeolite target odors directly from the litter box and reduces ammonia odors better then the tested competitors. Does not emit ozone-producing ions. Electronic LED count-down indicator lights and reset button simplify filter replacement. Roll-top lid reduces scatter and rolls up for simplified cleaning. Contoured scoop eases scooping throughout the corners and an integrated holster permits litter to fall back into pan. Includes 12-ft power cord and 2 sets of filters. Superior, contemporary style that fits all areas of the home. Patent pending.

The Bionaire Odor Grabber Litter Box effectively controls unwanted aromas.

November 11, 2011 1:00 am | By Zootoo Editor CynthiaLo

When it comes to certain pet products, one might think that there are only so many ways to improve upon what’s already available. After all, how can one update a collar or catnip? However, when it comes to the litter box, apparently the scoop-and-pan combination leaves much to be desired — at least when compared to the Bionaire Odor Grabber Litter Box.

The Bionaire Odor Grabber Litter Box has several features that should appeal to the veteran cat owner. First of all, the simple design of the box acts like a hooded cat pan, enclosing the litter with a roll-top lid to reduce messy scatter (acting on the philosophy that sometimes the best defense for cat cleanup is a good offense).

But the aspect of the Bionaire Odor Grabber Litter Box that sets it apart from other pans is the filtration system — a technologically impressive setup that uses almost every tool in our modern-day odor-fighting arsenal to make sure that the smell from your cat’s litter box never escapes to the rest of the room.

The Bionaire Odor Grabber Litter Box uses both a pre-filter and an electronic air purifier that work together to remove litter dust while circulating fresh air beyond the confines of the litter box. This system effectively removes odors, and owners (and any discriminating felines) will appreciate that the filters are both quiet and easy to use.

While the technological savvy of the Bionaire Odor Grabber Litter Box doesn’t come cheap, it’s possible to get one of the products at a retail price of under $65 during some online sales, making this state-of-the-art litter box a nice value.

Pros: Helps to prevent litter box smells from pervading through house.

Cons: State-of-the-art quality is not entirely cheap.
