I used to dump this onto the litter and let it sit there. I finally broke down and read the directions and boy, what a difference it made!

You're supposed to put a certain amount into the litter and then spread it around so that when the cats go to potty and they dig the scent is released.

You will never be sorry you bought this product, especially if you use the product properly!

Pros: super scent, works well, economical, extends litter life

I used only a little bit since I use clumping litter. The baking soda seems make the clumping less effective.

Pros: Smell good and covered up the odor

Cons: If you have clumping litter, this might make the clumping less effective
