I thnk this is great for outdoor cats
posted 5 years ago
I have used igloos for outside feral, but this looks even better and it sure is less money. I also use hay or straw and then I insulate it with fleece to try and keep them warm and cozy. If everyone would do this for the cats that they feed, we would have less of them getting sick and dying
Pros: keeps them warm and dry

Keep the Ferals warm in the winter
posted 5 years ago
Nice, insulated, great place for those feral cats to spend the night. I recently got one becuase I felt so guilty that these cats were outside in the cold. Now at least I know they have a warmer place to go if they choose.
Pros: Nice place for a feral to live
Cons: I'm afraid a raccoon might make decide to live there

Outdoor cathouse for stray/feral cats
posted 6 years ago
I bought this item on line after searching for something to keep a stray cat my mom cares for outside, warm & protected from the elements. Its sturdy & insulated, the roof is the same as a regular house. We put straw in it to help keep "Baby" warm. A window would be nice but I can at least rest knowing she/he is warm & has shelter. After purchasing it from feralvillas.com for $75 (includes shipping cost) I came across other websites that have outdoor cathouses that have windows & claim to have insulation. Fancier & nicer but twice the price. I probably would have still spent the extra if i had seen them before purchasing this but this feral villa still seems to do a great job!
Pros: provides warmth & shelter for feral cats
Cons: basic no frills, window would be nice
