Pet Naturals Hip + Joint Cat Soft Chews are an effective, appealing way to manage stiffness and pain.

March 15, 2011 4:30 pm | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.

Whether your cat is experiencing muscle stiffness, or increased signs of hip and joint pain, the Hip + Joint Cat Soft Chews from Pet Naturals are an enticing way to get his movement back on track.

In addition to glucosamine and chondroitin, two supplements found in cartilage that act as natural joint pain relievers, Hip + Joint Cat Soft Chews contain Omega-3 fatty acids, which have antioxidants that can help to soothe joint pain.

Best of all, the product’s description claims that cats think the treats are candy – and our tester felines certainly seemed to agree. They didn’t care at all about the glucosamine or the chondroitin – only the chicken liver flavor. The soft texture also seemed appealing to them, and was a relief for the older cat’s more sensitive teeth and gums.

While the preventive effects of Pet Naturals Hip + Joint Cat Soft Chews are hard to assess for the younger of our tester felines, our older tester feline demonstrated a noticeable upswing in friskiness – and an increased spring in her step – after only a few weeks trying these treats.

Bottom line: Pet Naturals Hip + Joint Cat Soft Chews are an appealing, effective way to help your felines overcome and manage hip and joint pain.

Pros: Cats love the taste and texture; effective at improving flexibility.

Cons: None.

Pet Naturals Hip+Joints chews support joint structure

posted 5 years ago

I'm using these Pet Natural joint support chews for my older arthritic cat. 2 chews daily. Because they're a little tough for her to chew - she only has a few teeth left - I break them apart and she seems to love them. They contain glucosamine & chondroitin just like people use to support joint structure. And they seem to be improving her mobility. I've only used for a month but plan on continuing them. Make sure you clear this with your vet especially a cat with any other health issues.

Pros: easy to eat chews, tasty,

Cons: consult vet before beginning

Iams ProActive Health Multi-Cat Chicken & Salmon Cat Food

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
