Big things that seem small at first

posted 6 years ago

I use YL essential oils daily. To calm things down, my favorite is the blend "Peace and Calming." I diffuse it by putting one drop on my car vent when transporting dogs; it mellows them, relaxes them, and keeps the upset stomachs to a minimum. I diffuse it when I'm expecting guests with rowdy kids. The kids mellow out and play nicer; it helps the adults as well. -- I diffuse "Thieves" in the shelter where I volunteer to keep down Upper Respiratory Infections. It kills airborne pathenogens and is a life saver in a communal room that takes in strays. Thieves is a blend of the oils used by the thieves who robbed graves during the plague. When captured, they were forced to tell how they managed not to get infected when others did. -- I apply a drop of "Helichrysum" to my body wherever I have been bumped and anticipate a bruise. It dissipates the blood and keeps the blues and yellows from ever appearing in most cases. It is also helpful if applied immediately to possible concusions. -- I could go on much further about the many oils and blends I find useful. The thing I find amazing about essential oils, especially therapeutic-grade oils like Young Living, is that viruses, bacteria, etc. cannot evolve to become immune to them like they can chemical and pharmaceutical products.

Pros: Therapeutic grade, only need a drop or two, great results

Wonderful Oils

posted 7 years ago

These oils are great. They have many beneficial properities and many uses for pets. They are pure oils and can be either consumed or applied topically. I had wonderful success using a peace and calming blend and a lavendar, chamomille blend with my cat. She had a horrible allergy with skin bloody and raw. The peace and calming helped to calm her and the lavendar chamomille blend was massaged onto her skin. She is a new cat and I contribute these wonderful oils to a big part of her recovery. We still use them today, for people and pets. I use them on shelter animals too. However with cats you need to be careful with pheynols. Check out thier website. I know many people who use them and have had great success for both people and pets. Wonderful oils, I could go on and on.

Pros: natural, best oils on the market

Cons: none

Iams ProActive Health Multi-Cat Chicken & Salmon Cat Food

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
