A must have product

posted 5 years ago

This form of lysine is more expensive than some but is well worth the price. It is readily taken by cats. It has really helped my chronic cats with upper respiratory/herpes issues.

Pros: Excellent product

Cons: price

Easy supplement for cats

posted 5 years ago

I foster sick cats for my county shelter and add Viralys powder to their food. This shortens the time and severity of the upper respiratory infections these cats get sick with.

Pros: Easy to add to cat food

Cons: None

Helps with Basil's Feline Herpes

posted 4 years ago

The vet recommended this for Basil's feline herpes. He would sniffle and sneeze a lot. After we started giving him this in his food, he got better. When we stopped, he started sneezing again. So we put it on his food everyday. He seems to like the taste.

Pros: helps with feline herpes, cats love taste, not too expensive

Cons: none

Pretty good

posted 4 years ago

Our cats loved this stuff. We had no problems getting them to eat it. In fact we had a problem keeping them out of it! The only downside is the price. Its about 4 times the price of regular Lysine, which is just as effective.

Pros: Cats love it

Cons: expensive

Missy's eye no longet runs

posted 4 years ago

The vet gave us a salve at first, but this is easier to just put in food. Missy eats it in anything I give her so it works well for me. High grade product. Dry eyes in the house...

Pros: drys up that runny eye

Cons: cost
