It smells very sweet and just like vanilla frosting. I am not sure if that is just the natural taste of the ingredients. If so, then fine, thank you for not adding unneccessary stuff. If not, then what are you people thinking? Cats eat MEAT. If you design an item meant to be scrubbed inside the pointy sharp mouth of the most obstinate, uncooperative species of creature alive (I love my babies!) wouldn't you think you would flavor it with SOMETHING they would want to taste?

Pros: does its job as toothpaste

Cons: not meat flavored

The tooth paste is easy to use, especially with no rincing required. But neither of my cats will sit and let me brush their teeth. I do not think it is the taste, but it smells more like a tooth paste I would use than one I would expect my cats to use.

Cons: the cats do not like to get their teeth brushed

I tried this toothpaste with mixed results. I liked that it came with a tiny toothbrush but I found using a Q-tip worked easier. Charlie did not like the taste of this at all.
