May be good protection, BUT..........

This vaccine may offer good protection from the disease but cat owners need to be made aware that vaccinated cats will test positive for the virus if they are ever tested in the future. Current tests cannot tell the difference between true positives and false positives from vaccination antibodies. PLEASE.......if you have your cat vaccinated with this vaccine, have it microchipped. This is the only protection that your cat will have against being euthanized if it ends up in some shelter systems.
Pros: protection
Cons: vaccinated cats will test positive for FIV in the future
