Cat Harness

Cat harnesses must be the type of harness with a straight strap between two loop, one that goes around the neck and on that goes arounf the tummy. Cats are very agile and slip out of dog harnesses that have loops around the front legs. It is very important not to use the wrong type. It may be a bit difficult to get the harness on the cat at first, but they do learn that they can't go out without their "clothes". 8 of my cats love to go for walks. The other two hate the harness and just lay down!

Cons: may be hard to put on

If you are going to use a harness, this is the one to use. Its the safest one I have found on the market. Less chance of kitty slipping out and escaping. Of course, no cat should be outdoors with just a harness on- nothing is that safe.
