After searching on the internet, we decided to order a large cat tree from Angelical Cat Company. We were able to choose from natural bark covered tree posts and carpeted posts (there are also choices of carpeting as well as sisal covering). There are tunnels, half tunnels, oval beds, and pagodas to choose from and we chose a variety of the options to provide good scratching and climbing areas. The trees come in heights from 2 to 8 feet tall.

Pros: create your own design, very sturdy and safe

Cons: larger sizes are heavy

The cat tree provides lots of fun and entertainment for my cats. I will jazz up the tree with ribbon and interesting toys to make it even funner for my kitties. they really enjoy being up above the ground and provides a relaxing place for them to retreat away from my big dogs when they get rowdy. The only thing i dont like it that it really isn;t designed to fit into the decore of the house. Maybe if they made them with rod iron or wood designs it would blend into the decore of homes.
