I recently bought a 2nd one of these brushes when the one I've had for years gave out. Actually I probably could have fixed the first brush -- the only thing that happened was the section with the stainless steel pins kept pulling away from the brush frame -- but, since the brush is really inexpensive, I just bought a new one. I certainly got my money's worth on the original!

I groom my cats with this brush daily. Everyone likes the side with the nylon bristles -- that side is NOT the easiest to clean -- and a couple of them -- but not all of them -- also like the side with the stainless steel pins. If your cat will tolerate it, that side with the pins does the best job of removing excess hair -- and it's much easier to clean!

I like the way you can choose which side to use. We start with the wire bristle side and then finish with the brush side.

I have tried these brushes and nothing in my opinion works better than the glove. Plus animals love the massage they get
