Prefer other grooming tools for my cats

This slicker brush made my cats' coats look fluffy, but it didn't do much to help with dead hair removal. I also didn't care for the bristles and neither did my cats based on their reaction to it. Not a horrible grooming tool, but I prefer other grooming tools that seem to work better on my cats' fur.
Pros: Makes fur look nice
Cons: Didn't remove as much loose fur as other tools; Didn't like bristles

It is the only way to keep your fur baby from getting matted
Pros: It is even nice to hold while brushing kitty
