I was so relieved when I bought these, as later I had an instant need of them when my cat had a little fun in the litter box...

On the back it says, "mild fragrance" as a key ingredient. There is nothing mild about this scent. It smells just like the disinfecting wipes you could use to wipe down your kitchen.

When I first opened the package, a good 2 feet away from her, she backed up and squinted her eyes. I tried to ease my cat into getting used to the smell. Gave her treats and brought it increasingly closer, etc.
Her first (and much needed) "bath" went pretty well, despite her trying to escape the dreaded smell.

Later on, I noticed her back was twitching, and she would stop and scratch at her neck and bite her sides. I think it was irritating her skin.

On the upside, it worked, got rid of the smell, she looked great afterwords, and she's still alive.

I will definitely only be using these in case of emergencies, however, not for regular bathing.

Pros: No water needed, easy to use, gives fur softer feel, looks healthier

These worked really well for my cats. We first purchased them because one of our cats had really band dandruff and there was no chance at ever getting her close to a tub without having battle scars. They worked really well to absorb the dandruff that was already on her coat and also seemed to help her not have as much dandruff when we used them regularly. Our other two cats, however, ran from us every time they saw the package. Even though it does not get their fur very moist I think they just did not like the feeling of their hair all laying down in one direction.

Pros: Easy and quick to use, inexpensive, non irritating to your cat

I usually don't bathe or wash my cat because he does a pretty good job of that himself. However, when he get's into something or makes a mess, these work well to help him out. They smell great also.

I'd recommend sealing these in a ziploc bag so they don't dry out.
