I tried this product on my cat with the coarsest coat.

Basically the instructions are bruch pet, sprinkle lightly all over (except head), rebrush to remove shampoo. -- Easy instructions, unless you cat gets sick of you brushing her.

I think I used too much powder the first time because it seemed like I had to keep brushing and brushing. The second time I used this, I used less product and brushed the cat throughly. Since this is made from corn derivatives, the rest of the evening I applied this shampoo the cat's coat was kind of gritty (like cornmeal) and powdery looking. I tried rebrushing, but she said "enough is enough!". The next day though her coat was shinier than normal and healthier looking. She also smelled great for several days.

I would recommend after applying and brushing your cat you vaccuum the floor where you were sitting. The shampoo dust (all though natural and good smelling) travels through the air - leaving us sneezing.

This product only containscorn derivatives, natural oil absorbers and fragrance. It is also 100% biodegradable.

Pros: Smells great - next day coat looks great

Cons: Powder can get every where - gritty coat for 24 hrs

This stuff is great. I have TONS of friends who use it. They think it's the best thing in the world. It keeps their cats' fur completely manageable and smelling nice.

Pros: dry without water

Cons: not many

This is a great idea especially for cats who really hate to get wet. I have nursed many wounds from bathing unwilling kitties and vanilla always smells wonderful.

Pros: No wet cats

Cons: could be a bit messy
