Cat tree has three levels of living space for your cat. Kitty Suite Cat Post features a top patio, covered lower deck, roomy hideout and scratching posts galore. Heavyweight design is unlikely to tip and sure to last for years. These cat condos are treated with catnip and made with stain resistant carpet. The Kitty Suite Cat Post arrives completely assembled.

The PETCO Kitty Suite Cat Post is an all-in-one scratching post and activity tower.

March 29, 2011 4:17 pm | By Zootoo Editor CynthiaLo

If your cats are as agile and active as most, they might be ready for the Kitty Suite Cat Post from PETCO. This multi-level tower features three levels and enough scratching surfaces to keep your kitty occupied – and away from the back of the sofa.

The joy of the Kitty Suite Cat Post begins upon its arrival – fully assembled. As anyone who has struggled with putting together towers or jungles before might agree, this is a huge advantage for any busy owner. The post’s size, measuring 3 feet in height, is ideal for setting below a windowsill to give cats a perch for looking out at the world.

Other features of the Kitty Suite Cat Post delighted our tester felines. The post is treated with catnip, although the cats would probably have jumped on the tower right away without the extra temptation. Whatever the attraction, the post was a clear winner, with its hideout space, different levels of decks, and satisfying carpeted texture.

The only drawback to the Kitty Suite Cat Post – which is a minor drawback indeed – is that after several extended sessions of enthusiastic use, the carpet shed little pieces. But after all, better the carpet on the post than the upholstery of your favorite sofa. And at a retail price of under $65 during some online sales, this sturdy, heavyweight cat-pleaser is still a bargain.

Bottom line? For a post, a perch, an activity tower and a naptime spot all-in-one, the PETCO Kitty Suite Cat Post is a good bet.

Pros: Sturdy design; cats love the multiple levels and cozy hideaways.

Cons: Small pieces of fabric may come off after heavy use.

Cats love this furniture

posted 5 years ago

These cat furniture pieces are great to keep cats occupied and provide an alternative to sleeping on my furniture but the carpet tends to wear out quickly making it somewhat unsightly.

Pros: Cats love to climb and hide

Cons: The carpet

My cats love this

posted 5 years ago

It doesn't show in the photo, but the top perch on this has an opening cut in the bottom on one side which is what really makes this nice. My cats go running across the room and zoom up through that opening. As they snooze up on top, they can peek down through the opening to see who is thinking about getting them from below. None of them uses the little enclosed space. I will try to get our next one with more perching spots since that is really where they like to sleep. They cannot easily fall off the top spot either since the sides extend upward a bit so they can roll around and sleep upside down.

Pros: My cats really like to sleep on the top level

Cons: They scratch little bits of carpeting all over the place

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
