Wellness Kitten Health Cat Food offers quality ingredients in a convenient pouch.

August 4, 2011 1:00 pm | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.

If you’re already a fan of the unique packaging and top-quality ingredients in the Wellness line of cat foods, now you can add a special kitten formula to your pantry for the young felines in your household. The Wellness Kitten Health Cat Food features the same healthful components as other products from the company, with a few bonus ingredients thrown in for developing cats.

Wellness Kitten Health Cat Food clearly promotes its commitment to nutrition, and with good reason. The formula steers away from corn, soy, artificial preservatives, and artificial flavors or colors. And real meaty ingredients such as deboned chicken top the product’s list of components. A few other surprises are thrown into the formula as well, such as cranberries – as good a source of antioxidants for felines as for their human owners.

The packaging of the Wellness Kitten Health Cat Food also features a resealable package, and the zip-lock pouch will allow owners to keep food fresh in the fridge for days at a time. This feature will come in especially handy if you have a kitten whose appetite is still developing, and help to prevent wasted food.

Of course, appetite shouldn’t be much of a problem with this well-made food. Our tester cat appreciated the Wellness brand of quality, and didn’t seem to care about what went into making this food so good.

Bottom line: While Wellness may cost more than other kitten foods, your young felines will definitely appreciate the taste and quality.

Pros: A-list ingredients, convenient packaging.

Cons: Cost can be high.
