Sam has never liked canned food. Kinda strange for a cat but it was always fine with me cause I dont like opening those cans or pouches. Over the years I have tried it once in awhile, thinking he might like a treat. He usually snubs whatever it is and goes back to his standard dry food. I was given a sample of the Meow Mix Pouches at the Humane Society. I recall saying " he wont eat it but Ill try it anyway. " It sat in my pantry for over a month. One night he was digging around in the pantry like he does sometimes .... looking for treats. All I had was that pouch so I gave it to him. HE LOVED IT!!! The next day he was in there looking for more! I had to go buy a whole box.
Go figure! LOL!

Pros: Sam loves it... thats all that matters

I have some kitties who think this food is okay but they prefer other seafood dishes. I have one who won't eat it at all & one who has to have something mixed with it before he'll eat it. These are two of my least finicky ones. I don't know if its the smell or the texture but they just don't like it. The others will eat it once or twice but then they'll start leaving it in the dish. Also the pouch makes it hard to get all the food out of the bottom so I find I always end up wasting food.

Give me a can every time--I detest having to scrape food out of pouches. The cats did like this, but they like other, more convenient foods, too. It was a nice change of pace flavor for them, and they had no problems finishing it

The cats at my house really like this food, They think they are in heaven when i open this pouch. It really smells good. They do not get this very often, it is a real treat and they have not had any problems eating it.

I've fed this to me cat before and it went over very well. There is plenty of food in the pouch with plenty of sauce. This food can be fed to your cat alone or mixed with dry food.

Cons: not all comes out of pouch
