Both my cats gobbled it up in no time

posted 6 years ago

I split a packet of Science Diet Tender Chunks among my two cats last night, and they loved it! My female cat, Oni, doesn't normally clean her plate and will wander away from it after she's eaten a little bit, but w/ this stuff, she cleaned her plate, then insisted on sharing the remainder of my male cat, Cage's portion!

She stuck her little head over his dish while he was still eating and was like, "Hey! Gimme some more of this stuff! We can share!" It was so cute. I'll hafta buy more soon seeing as she likes it so much, and she's a really picky eater! There have been several wet foods I've tried w/ her that she's refused to eat!

Pros: Both my cats gobbled it up in no time, so they obviously love it

Cons: None

Finicky kitty seems to like this

posted 6 years ago

I got this as a free sample (full size packets!). The people handing them out gave me about 7 packets because everyone was asking for dog food (NYC is very dog-centric). I thought this might be a good way to ease our new kitty back into dry food after having oral surgery. She's been eating Science Diet canned food for a while, so I started to mix in a couple of spoonfuls of these chunks into her food to see if she could handle it, and sure enough, the next day, all of the chunks were eaten! She's picky, so this is a good sign. Eventually, we are going to try an "all chunk" meal to see how she likes that...
So far, so good!

Pros: food seems to be good quality

Cons: can't see any yet

Real Meat! 2nd ingredient!

posted 6 years ago

Tried this with my 10 year old cats today. They gobbled it all right up - nothing but the scent remained. First they licked off most of the gravy. Then the meaty chunks. A little more expensive - but NO WASTE! Each cat walked away satisfied and purring!

Pros: Cats like it

Cons: Individual serving size only

Chunky!

posted 5 years ago

Our cats are spoiled, they lick off the juice and eat some of the chunks and leave the rest for the dogs. It is good for them and comes in a easy open pouch.

Pros: gravey, taste, pouch

Cons: some cats do not like the chunks

Good to the last drop!

My cats like the Science diet food with chunks. Sometimes they just lick the juice off and leave the chunks, but later they come back and finish it off.

Pros: comes in a pouch not a can, chunkie food

Cons: none

Iams ProActive Health Multi-Cat Chicken & Salmon Cat Food

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
