We live in Northern New York and our first year up here we had a huge flea problem in our apartment in the spring. The fleas were EVERYWHERE. My poor cat...he was suffering the brunt of the torture. I got him Advantage for cats over 9lbs (he's about 14lbs) and within about 2 hours I looked through his coat and the fleas were either dead or on their way to their Maker. I was shocked at how well it worked. No irritation, he even licked a little off his shoulder blades and had no adverse reaction. I've used Frontline but isnt anything compared to Advantage. I vacuumed up the house and bleached everything. From then on our flea problems were over.

does the job, but doesnt' seem to last the whole month. I've even used this stuff , only to take my pet to the vet and they would say your dog's got fleas and put more flea stuff on them, even after I"ve told them it only had been two weeks since the last dose. So that's pretty expensive to pay for two flea treatments within 30 days time frame.

Advantage is an effective monthly treatment and preventative for fleas.
