I am a firm believer of home remedies, and that goes for animals too! Jax came home last fall with a cut to his ear and a claw nail in his back. I fixed him up and put the ointment around the areas so he wouldn't get an infection. And low and behold... it cleared! Take care of your pets, like you would take care of yourself!

I like triple antibiotic ointment better than Neosporin. It has a third antibiotic in it, that Neosporin does not. IMO, three antibiotics work better than two. We use it on wounds, sore hocks and red, irritated skin. Works GREAT!
