I love my fresh flow waterer. This filter is really easy to use and replace.

I have never seen a fountain that doesn't use these filters. I don't know if cats really care about the filter as far as taste goes, but when you pull the old filter out, it is stunning how much fur is collected on it. Technically, I guess you could clean it off and reuse it. But, I figure if I am going to go to the trouble of having a fountain, I might as well change the filters very frequently. They are inexpensive and slide right out without any problem. The easiest part of the fountain to clean.

I have been using this product for over 5 years, ever since I adopted my cats from the Jefferson County SPCA. My two cats seem happy with it. I would highly recommend getting the fresh flow waterer for smaller pets.

Pros: Catches debris that is pumped through. Filtered water provides clean water.

Cons: It is difficult to find in stores.

The filters are very easy to replace. They make the water cleaner for our pets.
