Drinkwell Pet Fountain

granted we have very busy lives but this does need to be cleaned a lot or it makes dreadful noises; i think it should be cleaned thoroughly once/week. my one cat drinks the water right where it comes out!

Pros: the cats love it (we have three)

Cons: it needs a lot of cleaning to run smoothly

My life changed when I bought the Drinkwell fountain, and I bought the extra water reservoir with it. My cats, who up until then, were constantly at the faucets, are now completely content with this always-running, fresh water supply. They drink tons of water, which is great for their health. The dog drinks from it sometimes, too. I can't say enough good things about this fountain. I broke down and bought the special cleaning brushes, which do help, but nothing is as good as soaking the parts for a couple of hours to clean them. I do this once a week, but I've let it go as long as two weeks. The cats think it's really fabulous.

Pros: Animals get fresh water daily!

Cons: It takes a little time to clean the parts properly
