Good for flushing eyes

This is a great product to have on hand in a shelter for a quick eye flush. It comes in handy when a cat has something stuck in its eye or just has some mild gunky buildup. It should not be used as an alternative to medication for an eye infection though.

Pros: Good for a quick flush

Cons: Not an alternative to vet-prescribed medication

Great eye cleanser

This is great for cleaning irritated eyes. I have 2 handicapped kittens, among their numerous disabilities is they don't have tear ducts. So I use this to rinse their eyes when they have a lot of discharge.

Pros: cleans eyes without irritation

Cons: no antibacterial activity
