my kitties love, love, LOVE this toy! i found this toy along with the similar Kitten Mitten on clearance and bought both. the Kitten Mitten was a total flop, but the cats are really enjoying the Finger Zinger.

here's the difference: the Kitten Mitten is made of a canvas-type material like garden gloves are typically made of. the Kitten Mitten basically provides an extension to the fingers. a piece of semi-rigid (plastic?) material runs the length of the long, long fingers inside the glove so that they stick out straight, and at the end of the fingers are little pom-poms. the Finger Zinger, on the other hand, truly "fits like a glove". rather than providing rigid extensions for your fingers, it fits more true to your hand and protects your hand with a thick layer of felt fabric. the fun "teaser" part comes in the form of 4 strips of fleece streamers attached to 4 fingertips. in effect, it's like the Cat Charmer wand by Cat Dancer times 4.

my cats didn't care for having long fingers with pom-poms waved in their faces with the Kitten Mitten, but the Finger Zinger was a huge hit. my cats all love the Cat Charmer, and the Finger Zinger allows more of them to enjoy the same type of play at the same time.

I love this toy! when your kitties claw touches the glove, you don't feel it. my kitties love this toy and i put a little bit of catnip on this and they go wild!
