This is a Cat Fanciers' Association Active Cat product. There is catnip in the house mouse. Unfortunately, this product does not seem to use a good quality catnip as my cats showed very little interest in it. One of my cats played with it a little the first day, but I haven't seen anyone interested in it since. When my mom gave it to me, I was concerned because I couldn't smell the catnip; I guess the cats can't either. Big difference between this cat toy and the Yeowwww! Cat-cat toy that one of my cats smelled in the packing envelope, tore the packaging, and got the toy out before I could even look at it. This mouse is very well made, but the catnip is lacking.

This is a toy endorsed by the Cat Fanciers' Association. My cats played with it for a little bit when I first brought it home. They seemed to lose interest rather quickly. So I refilled it with fresh catnip and they play with it much more. I think the initial stuff just lost its potency. I have other refillables and the cats like them--they liked this one after filling it with fresh catnip.

This refillable catnip mouse is just the thing for my cats. They carry it around and bat it all over. I keep finding it in different parts of the house. It also seems to be holding up to their abuse. There has been no ripping at the seams and they haven't shredded the ears yet, but they did chew off the string tail first thing. Other than that, they have had a blast with their mouse.

I got this thinking my girls would really like it. They played with it a little bit when I first got it, then stopped. Then, I tried fresh catnip and they were a little more interested. I know they play with it occasionally because I find it moved around, but it doesn't seem to be one of their favorites.

My cat really likes playing with this toy. She carries it around and seems to have a lot of fun. I've refilled it a couple of times with fresh catnip and she's ready to go again.
