While Wellness is a good quality food, there are others out there that have same level of quality for less. However, my cat refuses to eat these other foods, so Wellness it is!

When I adopted Daisy, she had issues with allergies - swollen lip, swollen chin, etc from her food. The vet tried a rabbit and green pea food that she wouldn't touch. I researched better pet foods and found the Old Mother Hubbard Wellness line. I was very happy with the ingredients and felt it was a good choice, so I ordered some for Daisy. For the past 4 years, she has eaten this food and we have had no more issues with allergies. She loves the food (loves them all, but this one disappears quicker than chicken - she has a bowl of each and I free feed), it has solved her allergy issues and it's much healthier than even most of the premium dog foods. It's tops on my list!

Pros: No by products

Cons: A little pricey

My cats love Wellness wet canned food, but just will not eat the dry. I wish they liked it as it is protein-focused and grain free has no animal by-proudcts, dairy, corn or corn gluten, artificial preservatives colors or flavors. From a people point of view, despite the fact that it is rather expensive this product is a winner, but my two cats as well as my daughter's cat just won't eat it, but since I bought a two pound bag I will keep trying. I gave it a three star rating for all of the above. Good for them would equal five stars but not eating it would equal only one.

It is a little pricier, but for such a wonderful product that is made with wholesome ingredients, it's worth any price. My cat just loves this food - this favor is her favorite. She has a shiny coat, no more problems with allergies (had while on other foods, that's when I searched and found this brand) and is healthy as can be.

This is another good all natural high quality food and I have nothing against the food itself but at least half of my cats won't eat it. The others will but not heartily. This seems to be what I have heard from a lot of people so while I have no problem with the quality, the taste seems to only please some cats.
