Practically Poptato Chips!
posted 5 years ago
I havee two cats that NEEd to have a prescription diet, epecially dry food. They should have only been fed wet, since they are prone to UTI'S. However, the first owners did not listen to the vet. They were returned to me because of inappropriate urination. DUH! Cats had undiagnosed UTI's. My vet immediatley, put them on amoxy drops, Royal Canin Urinary SO WET and DRy, . They refused all wet at first. Now all seven of my cats LOVE the Royal Canin Dry food.Everyone uses the litter box!
Pros: Made by a reputable company ,and they love it
Cons: Available by prescription only

Miralce Worker!
posted 4 years ago
Lizzy was diagnosed with bladder stones. Her urine was full of crystals and she and an extremely high PH level. The vet recommended that we switch over to this food before trying anything else. Lizzy went back for a check up yesterday, and the stones had been dissolved. Her PH level was normal. We are so happy. We were afraid that she would need surgery.
The food is expensive.
Pros: Helps with Urinary Problems
Cons: Expensive

Easy switch

We were getting Science Diet from our vet and they discontinued it. The last time she had a eating problem, she wouldn't eat anything. But when we got the bag of Urinary SO she practically tore it open. When it was in her bowl so was her head and it didn't come out until it was empty. She has been peeing more and seems to be doing great.
Pros: Cat loves it!
Cons: stinks

Good news and bad news
posted 4 years ago
The good news is that this food is eaten very readily by finicky kitties; The bad news is that this food is a bit pricey for the ingredients, with better quality foods from which to choose in this price range.
Pros: finicky cats will eat this food
Cons: there are better quality foods for the price
