Purina One Kitten Food

Fairly good product at reasonable cost
posted 4 years ago
I had one foster kitten who was pretty sick when I first got him. He had green diarrhea and vomit, and this was the only dry kitten food that he would tolerate or eat. (And, yes, I took him to the vet and he was treated for this.) The texture is softer than some other dry kitten food, so it is easier for the kitten to chew. On a unit price basis, it is about the same price as Iams. Both Iams and Purina are available in discount stores like Walmart and Target, which I consider as a price advantage compared to buying the same food at a pet store.
Pros: Protein is the first ingredient
Cons: Still have starch/carbohydrate fillers in it.
