C/d for UTI's

posted 4 years ago

I have a cat with chronic UTI's. After continual trips to the vet with blood work, urine samples, and antibiotics, we began my kitty on the Hill's c/d formula. I have noticed that she does not have a return of the infection unless I have slipped and provided too many treats or have had to purchase something cheaper. Therefore, I keep the c/d in supply at all times now...and, with 6 cats, it is beneficial to them all! I did learn just recently that any food or treats with fish/fish products in them can irritate the bladder - so I stick with dairy.

Pros: keeps kitty healthy

Cons: expensive

Iams ProActive Health Multi-Cat Chicken & Salmon Cat Food

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
