I love our kitty door. The cats use it to run in and out of the basement. The door was easy to install and has shown to be durable. Our cat gets confused if we put the swinging door flap on, so we leave it off.

We always had problems with keeping our dogs away from our cat's litter boxes. It was disgusting and not good for our dogs.

My husband installed this door in an inside door that led to the room that have the litter boxes and cat's food and water. Yes, we had to cut a hole in the bottom of the door but I'll tell you that it was well worth it.

We keep the door closed at all times so there really isn't any worry. It didn't take any time for our three (3) cats to understand they could use the door.

Now, the cats can come and go, eat, drink and use their litter boxes without interference from our dogs. It was like our dogs were attracted to the litter and loved gulping up all the food when they could.

Neither of our dogs can get through the door at all. The cats love it, we love it and the dogs are healthier without left over cat food and litter!

We are happy for both our kitties and our dogs!

If we ever sell this house, we'll just replace the door...no big deal.

This is the pet door we have now and the one we had in the UK. I love the choice of entry and departure, as we often want to keep cats in, but still need the ones that are outside to be able to come in too.

My wife bought one of these to put in our basement door, so the cats could go down & use the litter box & eat while the dogs couldn't. We use to have to keep the basement door open, but our dogs would sneak downstairs to eat the cat food & cat poop! yuck!
This was a perfect solution. Oh, yeah, our dogs are larger breeds, so it wouldn't have been good if we had smaller breeds.
