I have my yard fenced in so my cats can be outside safely. I use the Pet Safe door to allow them access to the yard any time they want. They love it, and so do I because I don't have to be constantly opening a door to let a cat in or out. My biggest problem with the door is it allows other critters (raccoons) in/out also. Even though the package says raccoons cannot open the door, they always figure out a way to open it. They have broken into my door more than once, and I've had to replace the door twice because they have broken the door. I've solved the raccoon problem by live trapping them every spring and relocating them. I'd rather do that than deny my cats access to the outside.

I use this cat door on a closet door in my home. I put the litterbox inside the closet and I taught the cats to go in and out of the door flap to use the litterbox. It keeps the odor inside the closet. Great product.
