We have these cat doors at the shelter. They lead to a screened in deck. They work perfectly as we have close to 400 cats and opening the doors for them every few minutes would be a real pain in the bum. Cats should be indoor only so I do not recommend anyone buying them so your cat can go into the yard. Not a good thing!
Pros: Allows cats to get into other places without opening the door
Cons: You wouldn't want them to get outside

A few of these were donated to the shelter and the cats like to use them to move from inside to outside play areas. Works very wall.
