I like this bowl idea in theory - continually changing out the plastic liner keeps bacteria away. However, it does get expensive if you add up the costs of the liners (which are recycleable) and I would feel wasteful continually tossing out the liners. In addition, one of my cats is allergic to plastic, so this does not suit our household well. Other than that, perhaps a good idea for traveling with a cat.

Great theory, but who can afford to buy liners for their pet food bowls? Seems like a lot of waste. Maybe for traveling, but other than that, I can't feature doing this two times a day X more than one animal. The cost would really add up.

The fact you would have to find the refills and buy them would not be economical. It would be great to beable tho throw them away, but what about the landfills.
