Drontal For Cats

This is what I give to any cat coming in as a stray. It is a fully comprehensive dewormer and it works...period. NOTHING else is truly comparable. Used in every vet office I have ever worked in! The pills are large and bitter so can be difficult to administer but it can be done and it is well worth the bit of struggle to be sure your kitty is parasite free.

Pros: Works on TAPES too - an all inclusive dewormer

Cons: large pill size and can be difficult to administer

Drontal is a great broad spectrum dewormer. It isn't used in the rescues I work with but I do use it on my own cats and occasionally a foster that is hard to medicate. It works well and usually with one dose. I have had problems with some cats throwing it up right away but sometimes if I feed them first that will help. Great product though.

Pros: broad spectrum, one medicine for basically all common worms

Cons: price, sometimes cats throw it up
