We used to recommend this at the pet store I worked at. The enzymes are suposed to activate witht he proteins in urine and other messes to clean it without leaving traces behind that pets will smell. I don't know well it works at keeping pets from using the same area, but it cleans the messes fairly well.

P-B-Gone is an enzymatic liquid cleaner which can be found in janitorial supply stores only. It is absolutely the BEST product I have ever found to remove cat urine odor, which most people know is practically impossible to eliminate from carpets and floors and furniture. This stuff really works!

Pros: Eliminates urine odor completely!

Cons: A bit expensive, but truly worth it
