Great for bad breath
posted 8 years ago
I agree with the previous reviewer than not giving your pets chemicals is best, but some dental problems need attention.
The vet said that one of our cats would eventually loose all of her teeth due to teeth and gum infections that affect some cats for unknown reasons. We started using the dental rinse for all the cats periodically and the cat with the infections has never had another one and hasn't lost any more teeth. Another of the cats has a severe problem with bad breath. The dental rinse takes care of the problem. You still need to make sure your cat's have fresh water all the time and clean bowls (not plastic!).
Bottom line, this product can help with problems, but as always, BE CAUTIOUS when using chemicals!
Pros: Easy to administer

Easy way to give dental care
posted 8 years ago
My 6 yr old cat had to have 4 teeth removed. The vet recommended that I start brushing her teeth everyday and using a water additive and Greenies treats. Easy to brush since she only weighs 6 lbs. but my other cat won't allow it and at least this way he is getting some dental care.Their breath is great and they don't notice the difference in the water at all.
Pros: nice breath/easy
