This product is new to me

posted 5 years ago

I use this product in conjunction with the tooth gel. I haven't been using it for very long, but I have noticed a difference on their front "fangs" ( I have 3 cats). As someone else stated in their review, I have not noticed a difference in the back teeth. I think that is probably due to the way this is ingested, and it does not really touch the back teeth. They'd actually have to swish it around!
I have also read that you can spray the liquid directly into their mouths, which I have no tried. I just got the gel, which is apaplied directly to the teeth, so I will see how that works too.
Both products are pricey, the liquid and gel, but I think it is worth it, if it helps prevent oral surgery.

Pros: so far, it's great

Cons: pricey

Fresher breath

posted 5 years ago

My vet recommend this product when our dog was put on wet food and her breath got very bad. I put it into her water bowel and she just drinks it up. Her breath has gotten better but it isn't minty fresh.

Pros: easy to use

Cons: not cheap

Brushing is best but...

posted 5 years ago

Brushing is best but this easy additive can help between brushing. Just put a cap full or two in the water bowl and there you are! Cleaner teeth and healthier breath for those "I miss you" kisses! What could be easier?

Pros: great when you can't brush

Cons: may be too easy...

Works on doggy breath

posted 4 years ago

I bought this from my vet to help with a doggy bad breath problem. You can put it in their water or spray it directly into their mouth. It's tasteless and odorless and helps with gum problems.

Pros: helps fight bad breath

Cons: expensive
