Natural Balance L.i.d. Limited Ingredient Diets Canned Cat & Kitten Food

This "Duck & Green Pea Formula" had an excellent aroma and really got my cats' attention. KeyZo didn't hesitate to gobble it up and three other cats (all but Zac) gave this "new" food a long smell before deciding it was worthy of actually eating. Once they tasted it, they started gobbling it up like KeyZo did.

I like that this food has LIMITED INGREDIENTS and is advertised for "limited ingredient diets". Although I'm not really qualified to assess/critique the list of ingredients, this food is classified by the manufacturer as "ultra premium" and I was at least able to RECOGNIZE the ingredients (as opposed to them looking like they were written in a foreign language!). In regards to ingredients in cat food, I think, in general, "less is better".

This cat food passed the "taste test", apparently is of good quality, and will be served again to my rather picky (Fancy Feast) cats.

Pros: Limited ingredients--good for cats with some allergies

Cons: A little pricey (but not unreasonable)
