Newer thinking is that cats should have more canned food in their diets - daily- dry food is really for the convenience of people. As mentioned earlier, canned food adds fluid to the diet. This is a tasty food for the cats and they eat it greedily! No sharing if they can help it!

I buy Science Diet for my older cats as a bonus treat. When they were kittens this was Toby's favorite. Bella didn't care for it. She is a finicky eater. It does cost more than other brands

Not sure what durability and material quality have to do with kitten food, but i gave it five stars in bth, this is good food but costs a little more.

I like to give wet food as an occasional treat in addition to the dry diet I feed on a regulard basis. It helps for males to give them extra liquied.
