All-Purpose X-O Plus Odor Neutralizer and Cleaner contains extracts of herbs, fruits, and grains and is safe for human skin contact. I wouldn't try it on my pet without checking with my vet first.
X-O doesn't get rid of the odor instantly, but works on it so that after a few hours the odor is undetectable. I use it on cat spray, cat boxes, and the trash can, which can get smelly after cat box cleaning, and it removes the unpleasant odors. The fragrance does not linger - it is detectable only when the product is first sprayed.
