My cat isn't the pickiest eater in the world. He used to eat this, but lately he's been turning his nose up at it. I'm not sure what the deal is, but he doesn't like it at all.

In general I really like the pro plan canned foods, it seems closest to "real meats" and not just ground up fillers. The salmon and rice is a big favorite of our cats and appears to be just what it says, flakes of salmon with a little rice in gravy. Chicken and rice is also a hit with all our cats. The Yellowfin tuna and mackerale is very easy on our older cat's belly.

On the other hand, the sardines and tuna in aspic our cats don't seem to like, even though it is very much "real fish"...it looks like sardine chunks in jelly, skin on the fish and everything! It would seem cats would love this but ours not so much....

I use Pro Plan kitten for transitioning my bottlebabies to solid food. I usually mix the Pro Plan with warm KMR. It becomes a groul that kittens seem to love. However they also seem to wear it and clean up it a treat.

I have found this product to be about the best of any out there for baby kittens. Just wish they would rethink some of the additives.

Pros: Mixes well with KMR; tastes good

Cons: Dries out fast; additives not best

I bought my cat some of the sardine and tuna canned food because she loves fish flavors. Unfortunately, she was not fond of this. She didn't hardly make a dent in it. I wonder if it is like real pieces of fish. You would think she would like it, but maybe she's more of a processed food kitty.

Pros: real fish

Cons: taste

We given proplan to all the litters and moms to build them up and for good nutrition.They like the taste and this food really doesn help them put on weight and maintain a healthy manner.The PWP foster cats recommend this brand

Pros: Our Vet recommends this over the others hands down
