Harmony Farms Country Chicken Entree

Just recently discovered Harmony Farms and I like the fact that it is Gluten Free - Very important to me as one of my cats is diabetic. Actually gave him a can (3 oz) for breakfast today. Wish I could say he liked it better than he did. He started off enthusiastically, but that didn't last for long. Must say that I have noticed that the "better quality" canned products have a somewhat thicker consistency that gets some getting used to on the part of the cats. The ingredients here are pretty good. Chicken, Chicken Broth, Chicken Liver, Ground Brown Rice, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Eggs, Fish Meal, Guar Gum (the ground endosperm of guar beans), Potassium Chloride ( a mineral widely used in fertilizers and in medicine to treat low levels of potassium), Carrageenan (extracted from seaweed, a food additive, but there are some questions as to safety), Taurine (a dietary essential for cats), Cranberries, Blueberries, Vitamin Supplements A, B1, B9, B12, D3 and E, Trace of Minerals. Overall pretty good and I will buy again.

Pros: No Corn, Wheat or Soy - Gluten Free

Cons: Pricey - Few Unnecessary Additives
