This food is fairly new. It's a canned formula made by Wellness in their CORE line of products. They have 2 flavors of canned CORE cat food now, with this being one flavor. I chose this flavor because it contains NO POULTRY! This is GREAT news to me because one of my cats is allergic to poultry. It's so hard to find a cat food without any poultry in it, so I was thrilled to find this one. The cats really liked the food and ate all of their meal. The food is rather fishy smelling...moreso than other fish-flavored foods I've used in the past. But that's ok, because the cats like it. Good, wholesome ingredients!
