A cat food that smells almost like chicken stew!

posted 6 years ago

Spectra loves poultry-based pet foods, and I only have to open the can to hear her gallop into the kitchen! It has no objectionable odor (in fact it smells a bit like a good chicken stew) and she gobbles it up in short order.

Like all Friskies varieties, it comes in a pull-top recyclable aluminum can, which is recyclable with your soda and beer cans for cash...

I have fed Friskies for years to Spectra's predecessor feline friends--who were healthy and happy all their lives--and to me it's worth the extra price!

Spectra is the third cat in my family who enjoys Friskies every day...

Pros: great taste; no "cat food" odor; easy-opening recyclable aluminum can

Cons: pricier than 9-Lives

Pretty good

posted 6 years ago

I bought this by mistake. The sizes of the slices make it hard for some of my kitties to eat it up. They seemed to like the taste, but getting the meat into the mouth was a challenge for some.

Pros: Cats did eat it

Cons: none

Tyrees likes it

I usually buy for my elderly cat Fancy Feast but since she has a finicky taste bud it always good to have a back up plan. Friskies fits the bill. It comes in a wide variety flavors and its affordable. I would not hesitate to recommend it to other cat owners.

Pros: wide variety of flavorsn

Cons: none that I can think of
