I think Reiki is great for both people and animals. My grandmother practices reiki and it is so therapeutic to feel her brush away the negative energy. She gave my mother's yellow and black labs Sampson and Madison reiki treatments and Sampson enjoyed it - he was so relaxed he ended up taking a nap by the end of it; Madison was a bit nervous. It depends on the pet.

Pros: Reiki is a wonderful way to relax your pet.

Cons: Some pets may be too energetic and won't settle down to allow for reiki.

This a great cd to play for your pets , especially the feline kind. I play this cd in the main cat room at the shelter and every body ends up chillin. I would recommend it to any cat owner.
