This is a great product if you are willing to use it consistently. The first time you spray something you are supposed to spray it for the next 3 days. Then whenever needed. I do about once a week. Although after about a month, my cat decided it wasn't worth his time to scratch the rug. Just have to have patience.

I found this product to be highly ineffective at keeping my cats from scratching. They did not like the way it smelled so they would avoid the area at first but it did not last long at all and they would return to scratching very quickly. One of my cats even walked up and licked the area right after I sprayed the solution.

i tried this product because i like that it was organic and i didn't want to use a lot of expensive chemicals in my home. this one isn't really even worth the little bit of money that it costs. i didn't see any real behavior change while using it. it may have temporarily (like for the day) stopped scratching but there was no lasting change even with reapplication.

Pros: temporary fix, doesn't stop scratching

Cons: organic

Although my cats stay away from areas sprayed with this product when it's first sprayed, I find they quite often go back to the area before too long. It doesn't seem to have the staying power I like.
