When I first adopted my 13 year old cat from the shelter a couple of weeks ago, she spent the first several days just curled up in a ball on the bed. I thought, "maybe she's cold?" and started looking around the web for cat beds. This lambswool ball seemed like the ticket, so I ordered it.

It's been here for almost 5 days now and she has absolutely no interest in sitting in it. I've put her in it a few times and given her pets, but the second I stop, she's out of the bed. And, to my knowledge, she doesn't use it when I'm not around either. Once she's over her upper respiratory infection, I'll wash it and try it with some of my other cats, but so far, it's not a hit here.

As far as a scent, though it supposedly has cedar chips, it's not a noticeable scent to me.

I loved the idea that it seemed so warm and snuggly and completely washable -- how great is that?? But, I'm sure hoping someone will end up using it!

For my arthritic cat, this is the best place for her to sleep. She has some trouble getting "on" the ball, but once her four legs are on the bed, she can nestle in and take weight off her joints. All the cats love these, and yes, they do make them their own, but are easy to wash and clean. These were easy to shop for through the catalog and when the balls arrived, they were still puffy and needed little shaking.

Pros: Allows my arthritic cat a sleep place that conforms to her

Cons: A little difficult for her to get to the middle

They just sink into it and nuzzel in. As long as no one pees on it it ranks up on the top of the favorite list.

Nice and soft catbed that they wont get out of it from! It is nice looking and doesnt take up a bit space in your house. it is not too expensive and its extremely comfy!

Cons: i want one for myself

This is a great cat bed. It's a soft, snuggly ball that any cat will curl right up on.
