My cats love this bed. I have had it for several years. It has started falling apart, but I can't bring myself to throw it out since the cats love it so much. If you wash the bed it will start to come apart. The cover can be washed, but is hard to put back on properly. I will be posting photos of my cats enjoying this bed.

These 17" beds are good for large cats. They're even deep enough that they can snuggle down in them pretty well. The covers are removable & washable. I have one that is sheepskin & one that is a faux fur so there is a variety of choices. They don't really hold up well to heavy use compared to other beds we've tried. After only a couple of years, the foam began to separate everywhere it was glued together & had to be reglued.

Pros: 17" size, removable cover

Cons: foam splits

Our cat prefers this type of bed more than the elaborate kinds.
